Posting this from Newark International Airport (EWR), the best airport ever (IMHO). There are charging stations everywhere, free internet, and they have restaurant staff ready to bring you food (that costs, of course). I'll never fly out of JFK again!
We left Carlisle this morning at 7:00 am for my dad's place in Mt. Pleasant. We loaded his luggage and left for Pittsburgh International (PIT). Couple of hours later we're on our flight to Newark, where we have a three-hour layover before flying to Dublin. Pretzels and Coke on that flight--I was happy to get it. I'm OK with United, but they don't give you much.
Fe, my dad, and I are with five others in this tour group; it's the same organizer that Dad and I went to Hawaii with in 2015. Everyone is really nice and I know we'll all get along. I think Fe and I are the youngest by a couple of decades, so I can't get over the feeling that we have a lot of chaperones.
