May 10, 2018 - First Day on Board

After a five-and-a-half hour flight, we landed safe and sound in Dublin.  Didn't sleep much in the flight, it was so uncomfortable.  But this is one of the times I'm glad to be only 5'-6" tall (or short). 

No time for sightseeing in town today--the group got on the transfer bus and we were shuttled to Dublin Port and then on to the ship.  It was sooner than I expected--and was not what our Celebrity prep e-mails told us would happen.  Hopefully there's time on the 19th.  I see there will be a shuttle to Dublin then.  There were none today.

I was tired and hangry by this time (10:30 am) anyway, so we boarded, had our complimentary champagne--I don't like champagne, but I like free--and then a buffet lunch.  Anyone who knows me knows that's my favorite kind of lunch too.

Dinner was late so pictures tomorrow.
